Spent two nights in Lake City arrived late the first night just set up and read a little. I'm on book 8. Yesterday we took Willow for her morning walk along this trail. This is a common sign at most trail heads. After taking Will for her walk we went on a 12 mile bike ride. I saw 6 snakes along the road side. Four were dead but they were there. Took an afternoon swim. Spent the rest of the day relaxing doing laundry and getting stuff ready to travel today.
Yesterday was the first warm day and we discovered that our AC doesn't work. It is only suppose to be warm the next couple of days then cool down again, hope all will be ok till we get home and replace it.
Arrived in St Augustine around noon. We traveled A1A which is the coastal route. The park we are staying at has a shuttle service that goes to town about every hour. It includes a trolley car tour of town. So we did that this afternoon just to get an overall view of the area. The town is beautiful. One of the oldest in the United States. We had dinner at the A1A brewery overlooking the marina. We just happen to hit happy hour. Great mango BBQ shrimp. Got back early in time for a quick swim. It is cooling off now and comfortable. Plan on a early walk in the morning to the beach with Willow.
